Heritage Protection Group provides fire protection engineering services for a number of United States National Park Service historic buildings. For one of the more prominent projects HPG served as the design engineer for the complete retrofit of automatic fire sprinkler systems into the iconic Ahwahnee Hotel at Yosemite National Park. This extensive effort required attention to the most minute details to identify and implement fire protection features that safeguarded the hotel’s guests and staff, and protected the building and it’s mission, while presenting minimal impact on the structure’s aesthetics
