Vermont State House, Montpelier, Vermont. The Vermont State House is the one of the nation’s most meticulously preserved state capitol buildings. Heritage Protection Group has been responsible for a number of fire engineering services including engineering minimally obtrusive, high sensitivity smoke detection and emergency notification systems, evaluating and identifying methods to improve the fire issuance of the historic fabric, and identifying methods to comply with contemporary egress standards without damaging the building’s historic integrity. HPG also provides annual emergency evacuation presentations for the Vermont legislative body.
